Achili（超短篇）

　　5.When Achili opened her eyes, she was shocked by the enchanting scenes infront of her. The buildings were in a kind of shape she only had seen in Arena’s drawings. People here are dressed in strange costumes similar to the ones she had once seen in Arena’s closet. Everything here seems so different from where she had come from, but also seems to have some very deep connection with Arena. Might this be Arena’s hometown?
　　Achili watched how people here lived while walking through the streets. Many days past as she began to get familiar with the place. She soon noticed that in this world, people can translate some kind of energy in the air and turn them into their own power and put into use. There are four most famous organizations separated in four sides of the land. The place she is by now belongs to the Jade Tower, the largest and most powerfulness organization. And what’s even more coincidence is that the owner of the Jade Tower has the same name with Arena. So Achili decides to visit it and have a look during the Jade Tower’s admissions ceremony.
　　6. The day soon arrived. As Achili followed the guide through the buildings, she was amazed by the gorgeous looks of its inside. Nearly all the things here were made with all kinds of jades. Including tea table and chairs. And the elegant patterns on them made the furniture even more exquisite. They soon arrived at the main hall, where all the people will listen to the leader of the Jade Tower make her speec□□ like an entrance ceremony at school. Achili thought, she wanted her students to see these beautiful scenes and stuffs. They are wonderful, and she wanted to share her experience with them.
　　Very soon, Achili heard the servant announced ‘Way for the highest lord of the Jade Tower, her majesty, Arena Cherish.’
　　Following his words, the sound of bells rang as a light sound of a women’s footstep came.
　　Arena!
　　It really is her!
　　These two sentences kept circulate in Achili’s mind. All she can see is the women in red gown.
　　7.Achili ran as fast as she can towards the back yard where she saw Arena walked into. And very soon, she achieved to find her.
　　‘Arena!’ she called out her name.
　　the women turned her head around curiously.
　　‘ah you are…Achili.’
　　At the moment, there were so many thoughts. Too much words she wanted to say, which made her don’t know what to say first.
　　Until Arena finally said something.
　　‘You found the way.’ she smiled as she said. And then, the man beside her gently dragged her sleeve.
　　This is when Achili finally noticed that Arena isn’t alone here.
　　The man is in a black gown which has similar patterns as Arena’s red gown. They seem to match. She thought.
　　‘Any way, it’s nice to see you. But you are not supposed to be here. ’her sleeve was dragged again. It seems that the man is trying to remind her they shouldn’t stay for long, Arena grabbed on his arm to prevent him from leaving alone, and said quickly to her. ‘I know you’ve been through a lot to arrive. But I suggest you to go back to where you’ve came from and destroy the method. It’s no good for anyone.’ and then, they left. Leaving Achili standing alone.
　　8. ‘You are not happy with this result.’ a voice suddenly appeared. Achili looked around. She is certain that there is nothing and absolutely nobody here. Darkness soon gathered around her, and formed a man’s shape.
　　‘Who are you?’ she asked.
　　‘Someone that can help you bring her back.’ He answered.
　　‘I can see, that you want her to stay with you.’ the shadow man continued. ‘And I can help you.’ He smiled and put a colorful black ball on Achili’s hand. ‘You know, the best way to bring someone back to you, is to kill the other ones beside that person. And if that isn’t enough, then lock her down, make it impossible for her to leave.’
　　‘I don’t want to hurt anyone.’
　　‘But then she’ll forever be with that human.’ He skimmed his lips. ‘You surely can follow her to this world, which you’ve already achieved.’But can you keep on and follow her to the next? Let’s not say whether I believe in or not, even yourself can’t be sure, right?’
　　Achili stayed silent.
　　His smile grew wider. ‘So here is a solution. Use this,’ he pointed at the colorful black ball floating on her hands, ‘It can kill the man beside her and trap her.’
　　Achili listened carefully as the man said. Just as if she is considering if this plan can work out.
　　‘I can see that you love her, that’s why you wanted her to stay with you.’ the shadow suddenly said.
　　‘Do I?’Achili asked in uncertain.
　　‘You do.’ the shadow answered certainly.
　　That is love? I do have feelings. She thought and suddenly she smiled. Arena must be happy about this. She will be happy for me! I am even closer to a human now!
　　She soon turned excited about the plan. After she make Arena to stay, she will tell her all about it. She would be happy about this! Because I love her, and she will certainly love me too.
　　The shadow watched as the robot began her day dream about the life after trapping her owner and smiled. So young, so simple, the world she came from must be a place as peace as the grave yard. Otherwise how can a little robot become so innocent? Or is it just because she’s a robot? No doubt why people call them Artificial mental retardation.
　　Lucky for him.
　　9. ‘I want that white hare! No, the one that is completely white!’ the women in red laughed aloud as she directed the man in black to catch the hare for her in the snow.
　　‘Come on! You are going to eat the hare! It’s food, not a pet, so why so serious about the fur!?’the man in black finally said as he fails to trap the hare again. ‘You are going to pull the fur down when you roast it!’ he added.
　　‘Arena.’ a third voice suddenly appeared.
　　The couple stopped what they were doing and soon saw Achili walking towards them.
　　‘Achili, I thought I’ve told you to leave.’ Arena said.
　　‘I am. But there is one more thing I need to do.’Achili said, as she stopped several meters away from them and suddenly raised her hand.
　　Achili aimed the man. The black bullet shoot out. But while it flies through the air, it soon changed its track, and began to rush towards Arena.
　　‘Arena!’ two voices shouted out. Achili wanted to save her, but she found that her feet were stuck on the ground. Shadow soon gathered around, the shadow appeared.
　　‘June!’Achili heard Arena’s voice yelled out.
　　And as the shadow in front of her dissipate, she saw the women holding the man in her arms. The man’s white lining soon turned red because of blood, his black gown dropped in the snow which mixed up with his blood. That made the black gown seemed even more dark.
　　‘June? June? June can you hear me? You’ve said you will roast the hare for me. You’ve said you will catch me the white one, you promised me you will be with me for as long as possible!’ tears broke out as she shouted to the man. But he can hardly give any reaction.
　　Achili walked near her and threw out the other half of the colorful black ball. The ball soon formed a black cage and covered her. But the women seem to have some kind of power around her that prevent the cage to shrink. She lifts her eyes and looked up. But she didn’t look at Achili, but the shadow behind her.
　　‘So this is what is waiting for me.’ as if is finally sure that the man has lost his breath, she said in a peaceful voice. But the light in her eyes showed that she is not calm as she seems to be. Then she suddenly smiled. ‘You used your ability to make the bullet and this cage. You destroyed his soul.’
　　The shadow gave her a shy smile, as she is praising him.
　　The woman laughed out aloud as if she was mad.
　　Achili and the shadow waited till she calmed down. She felt sorry for her, but more in her eyes were excitement. She is excited about the life she is going to have with her. From now on her owner not only owns her, but she also owns her owner, and they will have only the two of them.
　　‘Close your eyes.’ The women said again. This time, she spoke to Achili. ‘I hate the way you look at me.’
　　‘Why?’Achili asked.
　　But the women didn’t answer, s□□ kept on speaking. ‘Do you know where the last person who looked at me like this is by now?’ Achili didn’t reply. ‘Nowhere!’ the women laughed for a second, but soon found it not funny, and stopped.
　　‘Can you stay with me?’ finally Achili asked.
　　The women looked at her, just like asking her why should I.
　　‘I love you.’Achili said again.
　　The women looked at her in a weird eye, but soon burst into laughter. ‘That is the funniest joke I’ve heard for so long. Thank you.’ She said without any thankful.
　　‘it’s true.’Achili said seriously.
　　‘If I ever believed a robot to say me words like that, I wouldn’t recognize if it’s the robot which said that crazier or it’s the me who believed it mad.’ She said.
　　‘why don’t you believe me?’
　　‘why would a robot have feelings?’
　　‘but I have.’
　　‘Your just made up by a bunch of zeros and ones I text into your integrated circuit. What feelings will you have?’
　　‘then why can’t you just stay with me? I want you to be by my side.’
　　‘why should I? I am not in love with you.’
　　‘why can’t you?’
　　Arena stayed silence for a second, but soon replied. ‘would a human love a tool?’ she threw the question back to her.
　　‘stop talking to her, she is wasting time.’ The shadow said.
　　But just before they could do something, Arena moved. The red light surrounding her grew brighter, it soon broke the cage and spread towards the two of them.
　　‘it’s been a hard job for me to keep calm and talk to an idiot like you while fixing his center soul. But good news to me, I made it.’ she walked through the black smoke. ‘since I’ve already said so much, I don’t mind to say some more.’ she slowly raised her hand and the red wind gathered towards her control. ‘a creator can simply destroy he or she’s creation, because they have the right of control to the ones they’ve made up. Like me to you, your made up by me from the smallest particle.’
　　‘but first, I’ll take the eye.’
　　She lost her eye, but she wanted to get it back into her eye hole. Right before she could reach it.
　　Achili heard she said again in a low voice.‘I do not want to see you again.’ And then, red tide covered her and she fell into the darkness.
　　10. Achili thought a lot in the darkness as she felt herself evanish. She was right. She thought. Nobody would fell in love with a tool in her hand. Just like she wouldn’t fell in love with the swiping robot on the ground. Even though they are both robots.
　　Then she thought of her students. They are still waiting outside, but she can’t tell them what’s out there anymore. What a pity.
　　Forgetting how long she have stayed in the darkness, finally, a shot of light came in. It brought Achili out. It’s the shadow. But he seems kind of different, and she can’t tell why. It just feels strange about him.
　　‘I owe you.’ He said. ‘but to say pacifically, the person that owes you isn’t me, but counted on me. So if I want to get over it, I’ll have to pay off.’ he said in a low voice as if he is talking to himself. ‘I want to defeat him and form my complete self. So I have to clear what’s counting on me, luckily, there’s only one. YOU.’
　　He pointed at Achili.
　　Achili finally realized what was different. The inside. This is not the shadow that gave her the black ball. But they seem to have the same cover. But any way, she does not want to know why. Nothing matters by now.
　　‘So I will lift you out and put you back to where you came from.’ He said again. ‘And that will clear out!’ as he found the solution, the scenes in front of Achili changed. The places damaged on her began to cure.
　　When Achili opened her eyes again, she saw her students looking at her in curiosity.
　　‘So how is it? Did it work?’ it’s Cane, she thought.
　　‘It failed.’ She said. ‘But I already know how to change it.’ She won’t appear in front of her again, just as she hoped. But she wants these students of hers to see what she had seen outside. They worth it.
