这里曾经玫瑰盛开

　　Thousands of white roses were dancing under the moon light, blooming flowers let Isaac feel released in the first time, “This is amazing, really. Thank you took me here, Kelly. But ain’t roses should blossom in spring”

　　万千朵白色玫瑰在月光下跳舞，那些绽放的花朵第一次让伊萨克觉得他已远离一切凡尘，这真是太棒了，谢谢你带我来这里，凯莉。可是，玫瑰不应该只是在春天绽放吗？

　　“You want to know the truth My grandma told me the story of these roses, they actually have their names, each rose is a spirit who already dead that used to live in this town, some never fade, they protect we those people whose are still alive.”

　　你想知道真相吗？我的奶奶告诉过我一个关于这些玫瑰的故事，这里的每一朵玫瑰都有名字，都有灵魂，他们都是曾经住在这个小镇里面的人们，有些花从不凋谢，它们保护着我们这些还活着的人。

　　“It’s a beautiful story. Now I must go, see you next day in school.” Isaac heard the bell is clocking again, knew he was running out of time.

　　“You are late, man.”Sean shouted, “You’re going to missed the band, weren’t you waiting for whole year to see the band perform from south to here”

　　“Sorry, today is on my bill, we will catch the bus, don’t worry.” Issac smiled.

　　The bars in Newry never check the ID card, that was why Isaac and Sean always sneaks out for cup of drink, but they knew it was only part of the reason. They both love the band called Time Robber, especially Isaac. This band is a genies, according to what Isaac said, they were a band that travel around Ireland, from south to north, west to east, and they almost can play all kinds of music, jazz, bluse, rock, pop and rap, which is completely different from Ireland traditional music, Isaac was so sick of that.

　　纽里小镇的酒吧从来不会查身份证，这就是为什么伊萨克和肖恩经常偷跑到这里喝一杯的原因，但是他们知道这只是原因之一。他们都喜欢一个叫时间抢劫者的乐队，尤其是伊萨克。用他的话来说这个乐队简直就是天才，他们采取巡回演出的方式在爱尔兰各个地方走南闯北，并且他们几乎任何音乐都会演奏，爵士，布鲁斯，摇滚流行还有说唱，它们和爱尔兰传统音乐完全不同，伊萨克受够了爱尔兰音乐。

　　“A cup of Whisky and Vodka.” They sat on the bar, the show was about to start.

　　一杯威士忌和伏特加。他们坐在吧台前，演出马上就要开始了。

　　Tonight is Sunday Jazz night, everyone here were talking, a big black guy finished his martini and talking loudly with his friends, “Have you heard that The government are really going to deal the problems of religion, really, I mean it.”

　　“I don’t know.”That guy shook his head, “But whatever side they will choose, it’s gonna be disaster, you will see, the war is coming soon. Oh, hi, my name is Macdonald, this is Scott, and you are…”

　　我不知道，那个人摇了摇头，但是不管他们支持哪边，灾难就要来了，你等着吧，马上就要打仗了。嘿，你好，我是麦克唐纳，我旁边这位是斯科特，你是。。。

　　“I’m Isaac, and this is my friend Sean. We’re from Belly. And, where did you get the news”
　　我是伊萨克，这是我朋友肖恩。我们从贝利来的。对了，你是从哪里得知的消息？

　　“One of my cousin’s friend work for the government, he said it’s still on progressing but won’t be too long. Do you guys have religion”

　　我表亲的一个朋友为政府工作，他说虽然这件事情还在计划中但是也离出台不远了。你们信宗教吗？

　　“I’m Protestant and Sean is Catholic.”

　　我是新教徒，肖恩是天主教教徒。

　　“Then you guys must be careful, those politicians never care about our lives, only they want is power.”

　　那你们就一定得小心了，那些政治家从来不会关心我们的生死，他们只关心权力。

　　“Don’t worry, not matter what happen me and Sean are still friends, it can’t be destroy, am I right, Sean”

　　别担心，不管发生什么我和肖恩还是好朋友，这不会关系到我们的友谊的，我说的对吗，肖恩？

　　Sean went to silence and thought about it carefully, “If it comes one day, I promise I won’t hurt you for any reason.”

　　肖恩沉默了并仔细考虑了这个问题，如果真的有这么一天，我保证我绝不会因为任何理由而伤害你。

　　“Don’t worry too much okay It’s Saturday night, we should drink, and dance. See, here comes the music.”
