曾經有一個非常美麗的人，他叫塞西爾,他的美麗甚至連世界都驚動了。
Once upon the time, there was a person named Cecil,
Who the most of Beauty among all the beings held,
Being so splendrous, even the World was marvelled;
神為了欣賞塞西爾的美麗，凍結了他的時間，讓塞西爾永遠留在最美麗的一刻。
God, to appreciate this Beauty, froze the Time of Cecil,
In this best of time, in this best of moment,
The Beauty of the most retained;
整個世界都愛上了塞西爾，並且嫉妒著他的戀人。
All the World was fascinated by this Beauty,
Fell in Love with Cecil, and so deeply
Envied the Lover of Cecil;
隨著時間的流逝，大家都覺得戀人配不上塞西爾了，於是世界把塞西爾藏起來。
The Time was going on and on;
The Lover was growing old and old;
So everyone thought:
The Lover was not the Match to Cecil,
So the World, the whole World
Hid Cecil from the Lover;
戀人一直在尋找塞西爾，然而湖泊，森林，飛禽，走獸，所有一切都阻止他們相見。
Ran, and ran, and ran,
The Lover try’d to find Cecil so desperately;
But Lakes, Forests, Birds, and Beasts…everything of everything
Were all forbidding their reunion;
百靈對戀人說：你這麼老，怎麼配得上塞西爾。
“You are so Old, how can you match Cecil?” the Skylark sang;
玫瑰對戀人說：你這麼醜，怎麼配得上塞西爾。
“You are so Ugly, how can you match Cecil?” the Rose sneer’d;
戀人開始想：如果我也變得那麼美麗，是不是就能和塞西爾在一起？
So the Lover thought: “if I can held that Beauty, maybe I can be with Cecil.”
於是戀人使用了禁忌魔法。
So the Lover used the Magic forbidden;
最後戀人終於變得更為美麗。
So the Lover held the Beauty even superior;
神和世界都驚嘆於戀人的美麗。
God and the World was wondered by Lover’s Beauty,
於是神把塞西爾的時間還給了塞西爾，凍結了戀人的時間。
So return’d the taken Time to Cecil, and
Froze Lover’s time——
在花海的兩端，兩人遙遙相望。
At last, on the two sides of the flower sea,
They two gazed each other:
“我們會永遠在一起”
“We shall be together forever”
“嗯”
“Aye”
